DESCRIPTIONKnown by the botanical name Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Cinnamon Bark extract is taken from the Bark part of the tree through Steam Distillation process. The cinnamon tree is an evergreen native to China & Vietnam and has shiny, leathery green leaves as well as small, white flowers with oval shaped purple berries. The oil is Reddish Brown in color and has high antiseptic properties.COMMON NAMES Elaichi CONSTITUENTS Eugenol, cinnamaldehyde, eugenol acetate, benzyl benzoate, linalool. BLENDS WITH Lavender, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Citrus Oils, Elemi, Orange, Ylang Ylang and other floral notes, Benzoin. USES Cinnamon Bark essential oil has good antiseptic properties and is perfect for topical applications. Its pleasant scent also makes it perfect additive to creams, soaps and lotions. Further, it is also used for warming, uplifting effect and antifungal, antimicrobial & bactericide properties. It is also used for lowering blood sugar and relieving abdominal bloating & flatulence.
